PROJECT, BILASPUR ::
This unit was established by the
Corporation in the year 1970 for the Mining of dolomitic lime-stone
for supply to M/S National Fertilizers Ltd., Naya Nangal. The
Mining operations are undertaken confirming to the requirements of
Mining act and various other requirements under the Forest
Conservation Act. Subsequently, the Mining of Shale was also started
to cater to the requirements of M/S ACC Barmana (Bilaspur) and is
meeting their entire demand for shale. The shale is extracted from
the private land by giving them compensation.

In view of the
aforesaid, the Corporation is playing a important role in the
economic development of the State. Besides giving employment to
about 232 persons, it is contributing more than Rs 5.00 crore
annually to the state exchequer by way of duties and
taxes.
