                              HP General Industries Corporation Limited is a Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956.  The Company was created in 1988 after the transfer of some manufacturing units of the HP State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. initially to M/s.Himalaya Fertilizers Limited, a subsidiary Company of HPSIDC at that time.  Subsequently, in itself, Himalaya Fertilizers Ltd was renamed as HP General Industries Corporation (HPGICL) and became an independent Public Sector undertaking of the State The registered office of the new Company is at Shimla and the Company today managing following factories/activities:  

1.                            Country Liquor Bottling Plant, Mehatpur ( Distt-Una )  HP

2.                            Country Liquor Bottling Plant, Parwanoo(Distt-Solan) HP

3.                            Nurpur Silk Mills, Nurpur (Distt-Kangra) HP

4.                            Furniture Factory, Bilaspur (Distt-Bilaspur) HP

5.                            Mining Project, Bilaspur (Distt-Bilaspur) HP

6.                            Furniture & Furnishing Division, SDA Complex, Kusumpati, Shimla HP

7.                            Furniture Factory, Electronics Complex, Chambaghat Solan HP
